Native iPhone training system

Train by feel.Not by screen.

Timer Gym keeps every interval obvious through phase color, voice, countdowns, tones, and haptics so the athlete can stay inside the movement.

The behavior

Every glance at the clock is a small break in training focus.

Visual checking interrupts movement

Athletes should not trade form or rhythm for basic timing information.

Generic timers shift work to memory

The user still has to remember the next phase, round, recovery, and finish condition.

Fitness guidance needs a higher bar

Unreviewed exercises and unclear data boundaries can turn convenience into risk.

Deterministic workout state

Prepare
without guessing.

Five seconds to settle, check position, and get ready. The cue system establishes the next action before intensity begins.

One language, three jobs

The timer changes shape.
The controls stay familiar.

Each mode shares the same state discipline, cue policy, persistence rules, and safe controls. The user learns one system, then chooses the structure the workout needs.

Mode 01

Repeat intensity without tracking it mentally.

Prepare, work, rest, recovery, and cooldown become a predictable loop with a clear final occurrence.

Redundant by design

The workout should still make sense when one cue disappears.

A loud gym, a phone in a pocket, reduced vision, or music playback can each remove a channel. Timer Gym layers signals so timing is not dependent on a single sense.

Beyond the clock

A complete training loop around one reliable core.

Setup defines the constraints. Today identifies the next action. Train runs the plan. Library explains movement. Profile keeps preferences, equipment, Health, cues, subscription, and privacy legible.

Setup around the person and the equipment

Goal, experience, and available equipment become explicit inputs before a plan is suggested.

Simulator capture

The real onboarding starts with one decision at a time.

The captured source build asks for a training goal, then experience and equipment. Continue remains disabled until the current question is answered, keeping progress explicit and recoverable.

  • Mandatory eligible-adult boundary
  • Local test path for unsigned device development
  • StoreKit and Sign in with Apple remain configuration gates
  • Apple Health is optional, local, and separately permissioned

Draft product content · guided playback remains locked
Fail closed, visibly

A polished screen cannot substitute for reviewed coaching.

The 24 bundled exercise records are useful for interface and domain testing, but they are not treated as approved fitness instruction.

Professional review first

Instructions, safety, movement frames, accessibility, version, and asset fingerprint are all required before promotion.

Generation stays locked

The constrained planner may use only approved catalog records, so draft content cannot silently enter a guided workout.

Health stays separate

Optional Apple Health data remains local and is never sent to the backend or equipment-scanning provider.

System boundaries

Local workout state first.
Optional services second.

The timer must remain understandable and recoverable without a network. Account, entitlement, Health, scanning, and content services sit behind explicit boundaries rather than inside the timing loop.

Device boundary
Timer and cue engine

Deterministic projection, persistence, ordered cues, and safe recovery.

SwiftUI experience

Onboarding, Today, Train, Library, Profile, and active workout.

Local state and Health

Presets, workout memory, optional reads, and completed-workout writes.

Apple boundaries

StoreKit entitlement, Sign in with Apple, Keychain session, explicit permissions.

Undeployed Cloudflare layer

Sessions, approved content, scan metadata, confirmed equipment, quota, and audits.

Product and market

The marketing promise uses the same language as the workout.

“Stop watching the clock” begins with a behavior, not a feature list. The public story then proves the promise through phase visibility, cue redundancy, and availability honesty.

Lead with the moment of friction.

Large timing, bold phase color, and one clear promise make the product understandable before installation.

Keep release truth separate from promotion.

The owner surface manages content and confirmed release records while the public call to action remains Coming soon until strict checks pass.

Recorded local evidence

Built across interaction, native logic, and platform boundaries.

116Numbered native tests passed in the latest recorded local readiness report, plus the UI and audio behavioral runner.
57Cloudflare platform tests passed for the undeployed backend and administration slice.
24Draft exercise records kept behind the professional-review safety gate.
Honest release scope

This is verified source implementation, not an App Store release claim. Full Xcode, signing, StoreKit products, Apple services, Cloudflare configuration, approved exercise media, and physical-device testing remain required. Background timing, spoken lock-screen cues, Bluetooth routes, camera, haptics, flashlight, VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, and real-device safe areas are not certified by the local checks.

Builder reflection

Reduce decisions during the workout.
Increase rigor before it begins.

Timer Gym became an exercise in reliable product behavior: deterministic time, redundant feedback, explicit permissions, bounded services, and a content system that refuses to turn visual polish into unearned trust.
